Survival Lessons: Decision Making Under Pressure

Inspiration, Goal attain and Stress Management From Those Who Have Survived Against All Odds

Award winning author and lecturer Michael Tougias shares the lessons learned about decision-making & peak performance from researching his national best-seller Ten Hours Until Dawn, his soon to be released Fatal Forecast: A Survivor’s Story, and dozens of interviews with people who have overcome tremendous obstacles.   This inspirational Power Point slide presentation first illustrates the survival stories Tougias has researched and then discusses the lessons learned.

Tougias (pronounced Toe-gis) is the author of 17 books who has conducted extensive research involving people who have survived disasters in the face of incredible odds. His interviews with survivors, studies of “black box” audio tapes, and historic research offers an inside look at decision-making under extreme duress.  Tougias has learned that the techniques used by survivors can help all of us achieve our dreams, manage crisis’s, operate at peak performance, and lead more fulfilling, productive lives. Also woven into the presentation are some of the techniques Tougias used to open and grow his communications business.

The skills and mind-sets reviewed in the presentation are useful for both individuals and for business groups that seek to inspire their members and employees. Tougias has presented Survival Lessons at organizations of all sizes including: Lincoln Financial, the Massachusetts Teachers Association, National Grand Bank, and more.
